International Flood Emergency Donation Drive
They say charity begins at home, but true compassion knows no borders. To amplify the urgent plea of flood victims, The Women's Care Foundation of Pakistan International Welfare Trust (TWCFT) expanded its mission globally by hosting a dedicated donation drive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Joined by international representatives, including Miss Global Malaysia, the campaign echoed a powerful message: "Wake Up World, Pakistan Needs Help." Through this international solidarity, TWCFT continues to raise vital awareness and funds for the food, shelter, and medical care desperately needed to rebuild shattered lives.
Global Solidarity: TWCFT's Flood Relief Drive in Malaysia
A Global Extended Family It is a true saying that charity begins at home—if one cannot care for their own family, how can they care for others? For The Women's Care Foundation of Pakistan International Welfare Trust (TWCFT), Pakistan is our home, and its people are our family. However, the sheer scale of the flood devastation required us to look beyond our borders and invite the world to be part of that extended family. We took our mission worldwide to ensure that the cries of our people were heard on a global stage.
Raising Voices in Kuala Lumpur To mobilize international support, TWCFT organized a dedicated flood emergency donation drive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our campaign booths stood as a stark reminder of the ongoing crisis, displaying a clear and urgent message: "Wake Up World, Pakistan Needs Help." The exhibition highlighted the ongoing struggles in Sindh and across Pakistan, bringing the reality of the disaster directly to the international community.
International Support and Advocacy The drive successfully captured the attention of local communities and prominent figures alike. We were honored to be joined by international representatives, including Miss Global Malaysia, who used their platforms to advocate for the cause. Their presence helped shine a spotlight on the critical, unmet needs of the flood victims, which were clearly outlined at our booths:
- Food Aid & Clean Water
- Emergency Shelter
- Medical Treatment
- Sanitization for Women & Children
- Blankets, Warm Clothes, & Mosquito Nets
The Mission Continues While the drive in Malaysia was a powerful step in promoting our cause worldwide, the work is far from over. The journey to rebuild homes and restore livelihoods is long. We continue to urge the global community to stand with us. Support The Women's Care Foundation of Pakistan International Welfare Trust (TWCFT) so we can keep delivering these essential lifelines to those who need them most.
