The Women Community Development Program (WCDP) by TWCFT empowers marginalized women to achieve economic independence and live with dignity.
Through its "Hunar-e-Khawateen" initiative, the program equips women with marketable vocational skills, micro-grants, and professional toolkits to launch their own small businesses.
Additionally, it fosters holistic well-being and community leadership through dedicated health, hygiene, and rights awareness sessions.

Mission
To uplift and empower women—particularly from marginalized backgrounds—by equipping them with practical vocational skills, providing financial and entrepreneurial support, and fostering a strong awareness of their health, rights, and leadership potential.
Core Objectives
- Vocational Training & Skill Building: Equipping women with highly marketable skills through hands-on training in tailoring, beauty services, traditional handicrafts, and modern digital literacy to ensure they can compete in today's economy.
- Micro-Enterprise & Livelihood Support: Transitioning women from trainees to business owners by providing the necessary startup capital, including micro-grants and professional toolkits, alongside basic business management guidance.
- Health & Well-being Awareness: Prioritizing women’s physical and mental health by conducting specialized awareness sessions focused on maternal health, hygiene, nutrition, and overall family well-being.
- Rights Education & Leadership Development: Educating women about their fundamental rights and encouraging them to take active, influential roles within their households and broader communities to drive positive social change.
Key Activities under "Hunar-e-Khawateen"
- Comprehensive Training Batches: Structured, certified courses in dressmaking, salon services, and basic computer skills to ensure professional-grade competency.
- Toolkit & Grant Disbursement: Providing graduating trainees with essential resources, such as sewing machines, beauty supply kits, or micro-grants, to immediately launch their home-based or local businesses.
- Health & Rights Seminars: Monthly interactive workshops that provide safe spaces for women to learn about women's health, legal protections, and community advocacy.
- Market Linkage Support: Helping artisans and trained women connect with local markets and buyers to sell their handicrafts and services for a fair, dignified wage.
